Dissecting Owl Pellets

As the year is winding down we have finally gave in, and are dissecting owl pellets. The kids seem to really enjoy it!

Especially these two! This is just after they have found a skull in their owl pellets. 

Mr.Shepherd's Baby Shower!

We had a lovely time at Mr.Shepherd's baby shower yesterday! Thank you to all that helped keep it a secret and worked hard to set it up! Below is a picture of the beautiful baby in a carraige Mrs. Flanders made us for the shower! Thank you for all your help and creativity! 

Our last full week!

Welcome to our last full week of fifth grade! We have a busy week ahead of is.

Monday- Jamie's grandfather will be coming in to talk to is about his new book, which connects to our science unit on pond life.

Tuesday- We will be visiting the "Rocking Rock Shop" to support the first graders. Please remember to bring in a dollar or two to spend there.

Wednesday- We will be having a special activity in the afternoon today. Be sure to ask your kids about it!

Leadership students will also be gone for most of the day today.

Friday- Our wonderful teachers who will be moving on to either different schools, or new chapters in their lives, will be sharing Popsicles with all students during recess today. 

This year has flown by! Don't forget to mark your calendars for the last day of school this year!
